How can I set up a regular pickup with DPD?
If you use the Shipcloud terms and conditions for DPD, we can request a regular pickup for your location from DPD. For a regular pickup to be economically viable for the shipping provider, a shipment volume of approximately 7 to 15 packages per pickup day is generally required. The exact minimum volume may vary depending on the location and the responsible DPD depot.
The final decision regarding the setup of a regular pickup and the required minimum volume is made by the responsible DPD depot.
If this applies to you and you are interested in a regular collection, please feel free to contact our support team and provide the following information:
Preferred pickup days (only possible MO-FR)
Average shipment quantity / parcel amount per pickup day
Average dimensions (XXX cm x XXX cm x XXX cm)
Average weight (XXX kg)
📌 If your specified pickup quantity is permanently undercut, the regular collection may be discontinued by the carrier without prior notice.
Good to know: Even if a regular pickup has been set up for you (via Shipcloud conditions or your own carrier contracts), with Shipcloud you can still request one time pickups from the other available carriers.
Are there any additional costs for setting up a regular pickup?
No, if we arrange a regular pickup for your location with DPD via our conditions, no additional costs will be charged.
Good to know: If you ship and collect via your own carrier contracts, your individual contractual agreements with the carrier will apply.
